Nice kit with high quality components. There were no missing parts. One minor gig is there are 6 IC's on the board, but only 2 8-pin sockets are provided for the MAX295's. I installed sockets for the other IC's, thinking it might make repair easier if something goes wrong. I'm using it with a WinRadio G31DDC which already has excellent bandwidth filters and a user adjustable audio filter, but I find the SCAF-1 still improves the readability of weak signals by cutting white noise and causing voices to "stand out" from the background. As I am an SWL/DXer, not a Ham, I haven't tried it on CW yet. I plan to start ID-ing airport beacons and it should help with weak stations.
