This is my second Rotor-EZ for a second rotor box. The first is 15 years old!
I love and use all its features. Point and shoot, serial interface, and automatic brake control. This is a must have if you use a "classic" CDE or Hy-Gain control box.
No issues with chipset
Fixed my problem after a static voltage spike.
This has worked perfectly in my old Hygain Rotor control box for several years, The RS-232 controller is connected to my NODE-RED station automation Raspberry Pi with a Flow I created and works very well with the Rotor-EZ with RS-232.
Thanks and 73
My tower was hit by lightning and this chip set was a lot cheaper to replace than a new controller board. Chips are in sockets so very easy to replace. My controller is working perfect again, thanks!
