Great Upgrade to the controller, EASY to install
Worked well, illumination is brighter than original. I think the instructions can be a bit more literal with perhaps pictures marked with arrows and labels, but a fairly easy install once I figured it out.
I like it. It’s bright and holding up a lot longer then the original ones.
Added a small wirewound pot in series so I can dim it with a button in the back of the G450. Beautiful looking now. Kit was easy to install. Instructions sheet fine.
Wow! The original back lighting on my G-450A quit working, a common problem according to some Googling. I ordered this LED replacement kit for a very modest price. Installation? So simple, a caveman could do it. No soldering or fiddling with resistors. Just strip the wires, connect by crimping, mount the LED board with existing screws in the rotor and you're done. The resulting backlighting is much better looking than the original. If I were to get another rotor, I would install this kit even if the original lighting was still working. It's that good. Highly recommended.
